Lightning Fall To Red Wings, Point Streak Snapped At Nine Games

The Detroit Red Wings (37-30-8) defeated the Tampa Bay Lightning (41-26-7) 4-2 on Monday night at Amalie Arena. The loss ended a nine-game point streak for Tampa Bay.

Tied 2-2, David Perron scored the go-ahead goal for Detroit with 2:40 to go. Tampa Bay got goals from Anthony Cirelli and Steven Stamkos in the losing effort.

The Lightning now go on the road for the next three games beginning in Toronto on Wednesday night. Puck drop on Wednesday is scheduled for 7:00 PM between the Lightning and Maple Leafs.
